Technical Expertise is a major component of a successful feed program and the profitability of our clients.  Premier Cooperative has a staff of 5 Dairy Production Consultants and Specialists, 1 Swine Production Consultant and 1 Ingredient and Grain Merchandiser with a combined 90+ years experience in the Feed consulting and manufacturing business.  Our consultants all hold Animal Agriculture degrees from accredited Universities and continue learning through Dairy industry trade shows and yearly training events.

Team Approach is commonly used by Premier Consultants to insure that a complete package of service is provided to our clients.  This includes more than ration balancing, formulation and feed testing.  We each have areas of specialization and can aid in feed contracting and risk management, facility and operational evaluation, records analysis with PC Dart, Dairy Comp 305 or Benchmark, assistance in training Hispanic employees of our Nutrition consulting, feed products and management tips to aid in the profitability of our producers.

Product Development and New Technology is at the forefront of our success; Land O Lakes supplies many of our trace mineral, micro ingredient and specialty products.  They are endlessly researching new products and technology at the LOL-Longview research farm.  This partnership allows Premier Cooperative new products and technology in our product lines that are exclusive to our clients and not available with other basic feed suppliers.  In addition LOL retains numerous PHD specializing in various areas that are available to assist Premier Cooperative in our Team Approach. 

Manufacturing Capability unmatched by any other feed supplier.  Premier Cooperative owns and operates two feed warehouse locations and two manufacturing facilities that have the capability of manufacturing and/or blending customized feed including mineral, premixes, complete feeds, ingredient blends, liquid feed products and a host of other feedstuffs all made locally. 

Quality Control is a priority at all of our locations and Premier Cooperative strives to exceed Good Manufacturing Practices and have won Dedication to Quality Awards for our focus on making feed products.  In addition we track all incoming ingredients from manufacture to farm, we record sequence of mixes, retain samples on every blend and lastly record who delivered the feed with what truck and what bin the feed was delivered to.

Cooperative Advantage is becoming an owner in the company when you become a member and start doing business with Premier Cooperative.  We returned 5.5% patronage for the fiscal year 2005, which means we returned in Cash and Stock to our members 5 ½ cents for every dollar spent on purchases for feed, supplies and services.
