Adding Eyes on your Field

WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE R7® FIELD MONITORING TOOL (FMT) HAVE TO OFFER?1. MORE EFFECTIVE FIELD SCOUTING
A multi-field dashboard displays daily performance of all the fields on a farm or in a specific area within that field. You, as a grower, will be notified of variability that may need immediate assistance and further evaluation. Crop tiles show how the fields rank on performance, as well as which fields are trending up, down, or averaging out. (Black = Higher than average biomass levels, White = Average biomass levels, Red = Lower than average biomass levels). Field Monitoring Tool helps to plan nutrient applications more precisely by providing up-to-date information during the season. FMT uses daily, satellite imagery to measure fields based on biomass accumulation.
2. IN-SEASON MANAGEMENT DECISIONS
The R7 Field Monitoring Tool can help you to pinpoint the fields that need to be focused on compared to others. In-season imagery with the R7 Field Monitoring Tool provides better insight to each of your fields, creating a more individual management approach. Understanding the variability within each field allows you to focus on specific areas for scouting as well as application decisions.

Ready or not, here comes spring! I have a sneaking suspicion you’re ready for it. It’s been a long winter but we’ll be wearing shorts before we know it. It never ceases to amaze me how cold 40 degrees feels in the fall and how warm that same temperature feels in the spring.
