Gift Cards for Gallons

Winter isn't over.

Wow, that was a rough cold spell in January. The icicles hanging off the edge of my roof and the frost on the windows reminded me of my childhood growing up in that old farmhouse. Some things never change but hopefully I can get enough money saved up for insulation, siding and windows this year.

During cold weather events like we had last month, we have a lot of people call in for their propane deliveries. If you must call in your orders, please call when your tank reaches 30%. That allows us to easily fit the order into our routes while you still have enough propane for a week. Pulling our drivers off of their routes because someone let themselves run out or called in very low will result in service fees. Taking drivers off their set routes is costly to your company, resulting in longer hours for our drivers, required weekend catch-up shifts and other schedule interruptions and delays.

No one is perfect, and you may forget to check your tank and let yourself run out of propane. There is a solution. We have monitors that use cell phone technology to call in the percentage in your tank every day. If you qualify, there is no charge for the monitor and we can get you set up so you can check your tank level on your phone. Why call in and risk running out when we can put a monitor on the tank and work the deliveries automatically into our routing system? I haven’t heard a good argument against it yet. Call your local Premier energy office and find out more today.

If you smell propane, please give us a call so we can check it out. We can’t find a potential safety issue if we don’t know about it. We can easily test the line between the tank and the appliances to find, isolate and safely repair safety problems. Also, if we get more snow, make sure the vent pipes for your appliances remain clear of snow and ice. While you’re at it, test your carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. State statute requires these detectors to be on every level of your home.

I hope you have a great February. Consider this your official notice to remember your sweetie on Valentine’s Day.
